The emitter is concealed from the elements by a tough LED protective shield to prevent diminished brightness levels over time. The Hardened Electronics provide increased reliability and the MSS Motion Sensing System (Shake to Wake) will power down the dot to standby mode to save battery life when no motion or vibration is detected for 3 minutes. The dot will power on immediately when motion or vibration has been detected. The RTS3 uses a 12 position manually operated push button intensity switch to provide precision intensity adjustment and previous intensity return. The new user programmable Auto Off feature is set to ON by default, which will turn the sight completely off after 4 hours of inactivity (No Button Presses).
